…as it applies to ALL HBCU Unit Social Networks.

  1. YOU MUST HAVE PROFILE PICTURE OF YOURSELF POSTED.
  2. PROFILE DATA MUST BE ACCURATE.
  3. NO SPAMMING…UNSOLICITED POSTINGS/MAILINGS ABOUT ANY SERVICE OR EVENT. THIS INCLUDES VIDEO UPLOADS. If you are a business owner, it is okay for you post your info in the designated ‘Entrepreneur or Biz Owner Group’ of the website. In this Group, you are encouraged to network with other business owners/alumni. You may ALSO post this info on YOUR PROFILE PAGE ONLY.
  4. NO ‘ADDING FRIENDS’ JUST TO EMAIL BLAST/SPAM THEM LATER. We’ve gotten several complaints about this. If you’re a victim, go to the Friends Section in your control panel at the top of the site, and simply Remove that ‘friend’. Don’t forget to report to us, as soon as you notice this sort of spam.
  5. NO GOING FROM GROUP TO GROUP(S) TO SPAM, SOLICIT, OR POST INFORMATION ABOUT ANYTHING. This is also known as GROUP HOPPING. If it is that important, contact us know and we will be able to disseminate your information in a less evasive way. Members do not appreciate it when someone crashes their ‘group parties’.
  6. NO RUDE OR OBNOXIOUS BEHAVIOR TOWARD OTHERS WILL BE TOLERATED. Let’s not forget that our behavior is a reflection of who we are and the Alma Mater that we all have in common.
  7. NO NUDITY OR PORNOGRAPHIC IMAGES.
  8. You must acknowledge that all Unit sites require your proper full name and a profile photo. Please ensure your first and last name are entered on your profile. Non-compliant profiles will be deleted.

IF YOU ARE AWARE OF ANY MEMBER IN VIOLATION OF THESE RULES, YOU MAY LET US KNOW DISCREETLY…AND WE WILL TAKE ACTION.

**VIOLATORS OF THESE RULES WILL BE BANNED FROM NETWORKS SWIFTLY**
